What to expect

Jump aboard for the ultimate Magnetic Island Pub Crawl, a fun-filled boat tour combining island venues, tropical scenery, music and good times on the water.

Departing from Flinders Street Wharves, Cruise across Cleveland Bay and enjoy a relaxed afternoon visiting a selection of Magnetic Island’s favourite venues. Island stops generally include venues such as Picnic Bay Hotel, Magnetic Island Brewery and Nomads, with Marlin Bar also a possible stop depending on the day’s weather, wind, timing and operational requirements.

The exact island route and venue order may vary, allowing our crew to choose the best option for the conditions and provide the smoothest experience on the day.

After returning from Magnetic Island, the pub crawl continues back in Townsville, finishing with two waterfront/city venues: Flinders Street Wharves and Townsville Brewery.

Guests can choose from ticket options with or without a drinks package. Drinks packages include one complimentary drink at each participating venue. Guests without a drinks package, or those wanting additional drinks, can purchase their own drinks directly from the venues.

Responsible service of alcohol applies. For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, anyone who arrives intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused entry onto the vessel. No refund will be provided in this circumstance.

The Magnetic Island Pub Crawl is a social, adventure-style boat tour. Guests can expect a fun and lively ride between venues, with conditions on the water varying depending on the weather and sea state on the day.

Venue order, stop duration and exact timings may vary slightly depending on weather, operating conditions and venue availability. Due to conditions on the day, we may not always be able to visit all four venues, however we will always aim to deliver the best possible experience and reserve the right to adjust the itinerary, route or timing of the tour where required.

This is a strictly 18+ event. Valid photo ID may be required. Participants must not bring BYO alcohol onto the vessel. RSA requirements apply at all venues and service remains at the discretion of each venue.

Wet Landings and What to Wear:

Due to the nature of the tour, some venue stops may require guests to step off the vessel into shallow water when landing on beaches or in bays Depending on the tide, weather and conditions on the day. The water may reach anywhere from ankle to knee height, and guests should expect that their feet and lower legs may get wet.

Please wear suitable footwear and clothing, dress appropriately for the conditions, and keep any valuables or items that should remain dry protected.

Participants must understand English.

A thorough safety briefing and tour overview will be provided by qualified crew prior to departure.

Tour Style:
This is a fun, social, adventure-style boat tour. Conditions may range from calm and scenic to more lively, fast-paced and wet depending on the weather and sea state on the day.

Itinerary Changes:
Management reserves the right to change the itinerary, venue order, route, timing or inclusions due to weather, sea conditions, operational requirements, venue availability or other varying conditions.

Cancellation Policy

Customer-Initiated Cancellations:

Up to 48 hours before start: Cancel for a refund minus a 1.9% processing fee
Up to 24 hours before start: Reschedule or convert to a gift voucher valid for 12 months
Within 24 hours of start: Non-refundable and non-reschedulable

Weather-Related Cancellations:

If Poseidon Adventure must cancel within 24 hours of your booking due to weather or safety reasons, we will first attempt to reschedule your booking or provide a gift voucher
If neither option is feasible, a full refund will be provided
